does anybody succeeded to get 256 colors
in win95 on a ibm thinkpad 360c (western
digital WD90C24A2 512K video, dx/2-50,
20MB ram)? is there a driver around? i only
get 16 colors and is not nice at all.
thanks in advance!

IBM appear to have dropped the 360C from support, the easiest way is to ID the Graphics Chip and look for a generic driver:

Scitech Display Doctor might be an option
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

I had the same trouble when I reformatted my NEC 360T. You probably will need to install a new driver for the video adapter. I went to control panel, clicked on system, hardware
device manager. Removed the display adapter, restarted computer. Went to control panel>add remove hardware selected the display, then checked show all hardware, in my case the adapter is NeoMagicMagic Graph 128XD. If you cannot find your brand, you might check at www.driverguide.com You can download drivers there (free, but must register). After all that, you can go to control panel, Display settings advance and change your settings. GOOD LUCK. (I also did this on my son-in-laws older Dell laptop also running win98SE after formating and reinstalling OS)I have been using my Nokia 3585i cell phone as a modem with my HP desk top running Win XP, works great!!!
Now am trying to use it with an older NEC lap top
and keep getting error 678, remoter co
