today, the volume butons on my keybord have stop working. I think i might have tampered with the settings but i forgot what i did and i know its not broken. does anyone know how to fix this?

I think the HP keyboards have a utility that loads on startup. Run msconfig, click the 'startup' tab and make sure that item is checked.

Yes, make sure keyboard manager/mmkeybd.exe is checked at startup...

and for the hell of it, check the keyboard manager in the control panel
