Deepak V, this person gave someone a "term" that is probably related to a diagnostic feature. This is that term try fdisk /status and c if ur drives are listed.

I would like to learn more about such things.
My Question is were could I go to find out more about these terms. I suspect some are activated from "Run" and others might be activated from "Dos" I am not even sure what they are called to ask "Google"

Thank you

Harry

With many of these, the question mark will help you, ie:

fdisk /?

will display a list of options.

The first terms you mentioned are dos commands. The link is to a dos help page.

Google is a search engine for the web. A good one. http://www.google.com/

Fdisk is the Dos program used to partition a hard disk.
Typing Fdisk /status at a Dos prompt or in Run displays the current partition status of the hard disk.
