Please bare with me, 'cause you'll probably think this is a really stupid question. I need alittle info. about the Temporary file folder in Windows 98. Yesterday I deleted all files in the Temporary Folder (excess amount of files) to free up more space on my drive, but today all files have reappeared with the temporary folder again. I don't understand why this happened, so if anyone could explain it to me I would greatly appreciate it!! Thanks!

have you been on the internet or installed any new programs since yesterday? the temp file folder usually stores set-up programs files. or, maybe you were asked if you really want to erase all program files and you accidentally clicked "no" ?
the folder will usually always contains some sort of files, which windows uses and never gets rid of.
just a thought!

They maybe a new batch,...that's my guess(they are like rabbits on steroids...HaHa proliferating like crazy)unless you are positive they aren't a new batch.
