Hi. this is the first time I've had to deal with an infected computer and I don't know what to do. I have a compaq presario with a 450 MHz processor. Okay it's old but it's mine.
After running Norton my computer quarantined three files. I don't know what this means. Does it mean that my computer is okay and that the virus is contained? How do I clean it? There are actually two viruses I think.

If Norton quarantined the files, they are no longer a menace. They have been moved to a folder where they cannot be run. If you feel the need to delete them, check your Norton documentation for the location of the quarantine folder.
