Taskbar missing

Comment:
I just installed the volative Internet Explorer 4.0 with Windows 95. I always use Autohide with my taskbar.
Now when I launch a browser (either IE 4.0 or Netscape 4.51), my taskbar disappears! And I mean it ain't just "hidden", it's gone!
Rebooting the system brings it back (control-alternate-delete), but this is not a good work around. Uninstalling 4.0 and all its components works also, but I like the look of IE 4.0 and enhancements and I'm too cheap to buy the 98 upgrade.
Any suggestions on how to make this work with 95???? Is it because my taskbar is a bit too full of launchable accessories? What's going on here?

Well, I guess I've solved my own problem once again! I increased the width of the taskbar and, amazingly, it is still there!
I think there's probably a better fix but this works....

How did you enlarge your taskbar to get it back? I've tried everything and can't get it back!

TASKBAR REVISTED...
The comment I made about resizing the taskbar should have said length (not width)...
I just recently restored the infamous Desktop enhancements (by installing IE 4.01 SP2 over a "clean" setup of 95 followed by IE 5.5) and lo and behold the disappearing TaskBar act was back in town.
Specifically, the TaskBar is still there but the "always stay on top" box doesn't work.
Disabling McAfee corrects the problem!
