Hello,
Owner of a computer working with OS windows 95a, I have more and more problems to run recent programs. Often conflictuing with application Tapiexe.exe
Does anybody knows if there is an update for this application in order to resolve this dialing-up application in windows 95a ?

A: To resolve this issue you will need to do the following steps:
Exit to a DOS prompt by clicking Start / Shutdown / Restart the computer in MS-DOS mode.
Once at the C:\WINDOWS> type cd system which should get you to C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM>
Once in this directory type the following:
ren tapi.dll tapi.ch
ren tapi32.dll tapi32.ch
ren tapiaddr.dll tapiaddr.ch
ren tapiexe.exe tapiexe.ch
Once the above files have been renamed extract the below files from Win95_11.cab off of the Windows 95 CD to the C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory.
tapi.dll
tapi32.dll
tapiaddr.dll
tapiexe.exe
Once the above files have been extracted type C: to get back to the C drive and type cd\windows to get into the Windows directory.
In the Windows directory type del telephon.ini
After all of the above has been done reboot the computer back into Windows and click Start / Run type tapiini.exe
