Try Windrivers.com, which you can get to throught this site. This will point you to Compaq's web site. Oterhwise call Compaq. More than likely the tape drive is an OEM and is maufactured by someone else.

I have a colorado 5G tape drive that backs up every night and is about a year old. It has started giving me this error: Unexpected media removal detected. We put the tape in at 6 when we close and around 8p it starts the backup, but then stops after 2 sec.
