When my system operation is temporarily compromised, say by a program hanging, probably because memory got too low, but I can restore things without having to reboot, sometimes the systray no longer shows icons for some of the programs that are still running (their name is still in the Close Program box, and sometimes I can get to them by using Ctrl-Tab, depending on the type of progam). It always shows the speaker icon, though, plus the clock. Is there a way to refresh the systray display in this situation so I don't have to reboot just to get the systray display back to normal, or wait till I reboot? Sometimes these are resident programs that become unreachable if their icon no longer displayed. I just tried out the free ProcessViewer utility, and I know I can reach them using that, but it uses up memory so I won't be running it if I can avoid it.
