system tray too large

Hi, I don't know what I did, but somehow my system tray (area containing clock) is now about 2 inches high. It used to have just a single line now has 2.

Take your cursor over the edge of the system tray, it will show a double headed arrow, left click and drag down.

That's not quite what I meant. I know how to do that. It seems to have added a line. Now the stupid thing is on the left side of the screen running vertically. I think I double clicked something by accident that caused all of this. I may mean taskbar

You can grab hold of the edge of the taskbar and pull it back down to the bottom. If no go then right click on a blank spot in the taskbar and choose to unlock the taskbar.
