I have a Pentium 2 400 and I just bought one of my all time favorite games X-Com. My problem is that my computer is too fast for this old game and runs it at unplayable speeds. Is there any way I can fix this problem without buying certain software?

You're program is compatible with an older operating system. The only way I can think of would be to install the older operating system on your pc. Like dual boot. Seems alot easier to buy updated software.

There are programs out there specifically for slowing down DOS mode games. One that comes to mind is SLOMO i believe. To download it, check out sites dedicated to old games (abandonware) or just do a search for it.

Good luck!

Hi

I use MoSlow for my games, and it works great (I've just got the freeware one)
