Note If u haven't pressed Shift+Del the files are bound to be on the Recycled Directory and if ur windows is still running properly restore them ...
I guess u know how to do it
If Windows does not load at all then
use a bootable floppy to get Root
then type
c:
cd recycle~1(or what so ever)
c:\recycle~1\
c:\recycle~1\DIR
a.bat
b.bat
.......
c:\recycle~1\copy *.*(Source) C:\windows(Destination)
1 ) Try using Uninstall Pro from the net
2 ) If u know which system files have
been deleted then try copying the from ur friend's computer
3) Reinstall windows 9X without formatting
i.e when windows asks u on which dive to install the OS then give its default path say C:\WINDOWS....
i think only the last option may correctly solve ur problem

I hear that Sprint PCS will fix that "I am used to repeating myself" problem.
