HI!
I want to format my computer. Iīve turned on my computer with the boot disk in it an I try to format it with:
FORMAT C:/s. Then it tells me that there isnīt enough space to copy the system files and the formating will be stopped.
What can I do to solve this?
I would be wery thankful for any help anyone can give me...

Format without /S switch first. Then transfer system files (sys c:).

Hi, me again. Is it possible that it tells me again that there isnīt enough memory for the system files if I do as you recommend, that is: first only regular formating, and then sys C: ?

That's a very strange error to get Robin. Are you sure that the drive is partitioned ok? You might want to run scandisk on the drive first, just to make sure it's ok.
If you want to check the partitioning type
fdisk /status

You do not have to copy the system files, after the format which I presume you've done put your start up disk and your win98 in the drive let it boot, select with CD support, at the a: prompt type setup c: windows will then start to reinstall
Good Luck
