Hello there,

When I boot up, I often get these days the following start-up error message: "System Error &H80004005 (-2147467259). How do I fix this?

Also, my PC was recently infected with Clickspring/PurityScan, which I think might have something to do with the system error message. I have run SpyWare, Ad-aware 6;0, CWShredder, and SpyBo in order to get rid of PurityScan, and these programs have detected and removed, but the PurityScan stuff keeps coming back.

Also, on certain websites recently, IE closes down. Finally, another weird point: on certain websites when scrolling, I get a weird one-note 'bongo' sound (cannot describe this in any other way), which is also new - might be connected to my problems, and might not.
Thanks in advance for any help

If you receive this error it means RealPlayer is not installed

Also, Error MSDXM means you do not have Windows Media Player installed.
