is there such a thing as system restore on win 95???novell downloaded new version. message after reboot is re-install windows...I don't have a copy of win 95 only a back up disk..help

Boot to DOS and type scanreg/restore. Then pick a date when the puter worked OK>

Scanreg /restore is a "registry" restore rather than a "system" restore. There is no scanreg /restore on W95 (it's on 98).

The best (possibly only reliable) solution is getting Drive Image or Ghost and backing up your system when it is working good.
