Switching CPU's, reinstall OS?

I am upgrading from a Cyrix MII to an AMD K6-III and I was wondering. Will I have to reinstall windows afterward? Or does it just automatically adjust.

Nope just set the jumpers correctly on the motherboard.

Alright thanks for your help. I just wasn't sure if it would have to use a new kernel or something. Finnally no more cheapo cyrix. heh.
