Comment:

I have a suspend button on my keyboard that will put the computer on sleep mode instead of letting it run. After transporting the computer to a new location the button does not work. When I push it, the word "Suspend" flashes on the screen but the computer does not go into suspend mode. Is it possible to reset the button.

Thanks.

When you use your mouse to click start, shutdown, do you have the standby option? If not, you need to go to control panel, power management. If it's not there, you probably don't have DPMI installed.
