Comment:

I was given a 20" sun moniter and i bought an adapator online to hook up to VGA and i dotn like the refresh rate allthat well....

so i figure selecting Sony MultiScan 20" would do good but that dont do all that great for refresh rate....

where could i get a driver for this specific moniter or INI file that would make it easy on the eyes?

jacko,
Since you are using Win98, you might want to give HZ Tool a try.
Look here:

or

Its a freeware tool that I used on some older machines which might solve your problem.
Also, some specs on the monitor as far as stated refresh rates:

Are you confusing refresh rate with resolution or dot pitch ? That monitor will not exceed 1150 X 1024 @ 108 hz. The dot pitch is only .31 so it will always look grainy and not very crisp. Your drivers are at sony multiscan20se You will notice no difference but you will have a drive. It is again a multiscan and it will automatically
change the hz. by itself when the res. is changed. Use it at high res. 1280 x 1024
they were made for that. Just make sure your video card will do that or you'll fry it.

Good luck, nice monitor.
