Hi everyone, Iīm in deep trouble. I was having maor problems with my PC and ten in a fit of sheer stupidity, I ended up reformatting the hard drive. Imagine that I did not make any backups etc. Never mind the lost info - I doīt mind that really. Itīs the problem now that I donīt even have MSDOS installed so I canīt go about reinstalling my CDROM, sound, VGA cards etc. etc. etc. which also means I canīt install my OS (WIN98)...I know this is askign a lot but how do I go abt getting the PC functioning again ? ie. I presume Iīll have to start by reinstalling MSDOS...where do I get anĻ"installable" copy from ? Thks a lot for yr help :)
The download contains the necessary files to create a bootdisk. Download it to the computer and select on the download. You will be prompted to insert a floppy.
When this is complete put the bootdisk into the formatted hard drive.
Select Start with CDROM Support.
Insert your Win98 CD.
At the A:\>type E:setup [Enter]
Windows setup should begin.

Suppose you can't really put it in the hard drive so put it in the floppy on the computer with the formatted hard drive. :)
