Have installed hmonitor 4.1.3.3 on above laptop. Perhaps I should'nt have. Its now @£$!. Blank screen. Pushed reset and .... gets to 'Loading Windows.....' then prompts scandisk (all in white type on black screen) "press any key to run scandisk" then i get: There was an error running SCANDISK.EXE, or it was cancelled. Run scandisk for Windows, as you may have errors on your disk(s). Press any key to continue starting windows It then loads up to the desktop but as soon as the hourglass on the pointer stops spinning the screen goes blank. Won't respond to ctr,alt,del Any help wpould be greatly appreciated

Boot up in safe mode and run scandisk.

Fingers crossed... all seems OK now Ignored 'Registry problem' prompt in safe mode and managed to uninstall hmonitor via add/rem. ran scandisk, all OK. as I say fingers crossed... thanx for all your help.
