My internet keeps 'not responding'. I have to end task and start again. It also happens when I open files on my desktop )eg. My Documents).
Any ideas?
I use Windows 98, have an Advent 3000 series with pentium 3 and I am clear of viruses.

There could be many reasons for this e.g. too many files open/many programs running in background, logical problems in HDD etc.etc. However, after ScanDisk and Defrag, check for file corruption through 'System File Checker'

Hope this helps.
