This is in reference to my previous message,(Installation woes...12/26/2000), I tried what everyone told me to do, and still cannot successfully install a game, anymore suggestions? Someone also suggested going to www.techtony.com and checking out the background info on VXD and possibly having to delete and reinstall drivers, but it was all mumbo jumbo to me. I didn't understand a lot of the article and would not even know where to begin with deleting and reinstalling drivers, which ones, do they automatically reinstall themselves upon start up?

I take it you have checked the packages to make sure these games are designed to run on Win95. (Some are not.)
Also, are you using Add/Remove Programs to install the game? If not, shut down any background programs that are running. (Use Ctrl+Alt+Del and close all programs except EXPLORER and SYSTRAY--if you have it). Also shut down your screen saver and then try installing the game within windows using Add/Remove Programs (found in Control Panel).
If this does not work, state the name of the games you are trying to install (in case others have had problems installing them) and post your PC's specs--ie., type of system, amount or RAM, etc.
