O.K. I ran across the term TRIDATAJAVA while looking through my system files. it says its already installed. but I can't find any particular information on it other than vauge referances. someone posted a link http://troy.gc.peachnet.edu/www/wbeck/ie50/
to an earlier inquiry I'd made on the subject. But theres really no good info, just another one of those vauge referances.
I ran a find file search and found it inhabits: system1st, activesetuplog.txt, system.dat, system.nso, system.nu5, system.rsc, ie.inf, iesetup.cif and a few others...

I'm curious as to what its function and or purpose is. And no one seems to know. Any help?

I think "no help" had the best suggestion of all. After doing a little research I found the subject to be quite interesting. Sure you can subscribe to the "just because your always paranoid, doesn't mean there always after you concept" but I was brought up in the "always ask pointed questions, and question everything" school of thought. Its not just a binding tool, its much more than that... don't believe me.. get a port watcher, and start doing extensive searches on the subject. And watch what happens.. Oh and hey booger... ever run across a file that was created say in the year 2000 and then modified in 1999? Backdating is a fun old trick... I guess theres some things people just shouldn't ask questions about. But hey... its a great one for all you conspiracy theorists, try it and see... as for me... I'm duckin out on this topic... have fun...

Peace...
