This window is constantly popping up on a computer running Win98SE:

"STILL IMAGE SERVICES ERROR MESSAGE"
An application associated with this event could not be launched"

This continually pops up, even when the computer is idle until there are MANY of these boxes on the screen and the computer eventually freezes as the resources are used up by these messages!

I'd appreciate any input. All I could find on the subject pertained to Windows 2000, not 98 and it spoke of a Win2000 service pak that corrects this. Obviously doen't help me.

Thanks in advance!

There is a lot of info on the below Microsoft site; but trying to evaluate exactly what it means in bottom line language is another story. It goes over the process and how used within the OS starting with win98 but does not give a clue on repair aspects.
