I am trying to have the Office short cut menu be displayed directly from start up. I can't figure out how to do it. Also What short cut keys will get me to the startup menu(besides: settings-taskbars & startup). I seem to remember using the CTRL or Alt keys but I can't remember the sequence.Thank you!

Assuming you're using windows 98.

from the start button slide your mouse through what ever sequence needed to get to the office startup icon, RIGHT button and holdown, drag to the portion above start\progams, and release, choose "create shortcut here"
Voila,, 2 clicks to office start up ,1 "start button ", slide up to 2"office startup",
Alternatively: navigat to startup folder in windows and create a shortcut in that folder to:
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\OSA.exe" -b " or as needed to get to " OSA.exe " (this is the path to my office starter in office 97 pro . Office 2K may be diff.

The Office Shortcut Bar's default is to run at start up. if it is set to Auto-Hide then move your cursor around the edge of your screen to see if it appears. If it does then you can right click the logo and de-select Auto-hide.

If it can not be found then I suspect it was closed once and opted to not run at start-up. To re-start it you should be able to find it in Start/Programs/Startup. Open it from there, close it and when it asks if you want it to start at start-up the next time, select Yes.

I could not locate any hot keys to the startup menu.

You could go to Start/Run and type in "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\MSOFFICE.exe" to run the shortcut bar too. (works with the quotes) Copy and paste it from here.
