Hi

When win98 boots, I don't have the pleasure of injoying my
self-created animated startup logos for more then a few seconds,
then the screen reverses to the black MS-Dos screen showing the
autoexec.bat ontill the bootup has complited.

Is it possible to change this annoying behavior.

By wieving the Bootlog.txt file I senses the line:
C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND\KEYB.COM(Logo disabled)???!

Any suggestions wound be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance
Peter.

Pete,
I tried to simulate your problem but couldn't do it.
I only see my autoexec file when I have the start up logo disable by changing Logo=1 to Logo=0 in my msdos.sys file. But with Logo=0, I don't see even a few seconds of the start up logo. So I'm thinking that your animation might be the problem. Why not replace it with just a plain bitmap picture to see if it stays on screen as long as it should. (Bitmap 320 x 400 x256 colors)

I think keyb.com has to do with the keyboard.

BTW (you probably just mistyped this), logos.sys is actually the last shut down screen. Logo.sys is the start up logo screen and should be placed in the root directory of C.
Don
