I am looking for instructions on how to create a shortcut in the strt-up folder to be able to open a FrontPage file and other files associated with it. nay suggestions?
Opening a file won't do you much good. You need to open the Application (Program) which works with your file(s). Locate the application you wish to open with start up. Right click on it. Click 'Create Shortcut'. Drag this shortcut to:
C:\WINDOWS\Start Menu\Programs\StartUp

Sorry, I know this, I might of worded the question wrong. I need to open Frontpage then open files that are associated with a web page. I know you can use : or ; to add other extensions tot he start-up shortcut. I just need to know a little more about that.

VSHINIT.VXD is part of the McAfee VShield program. try reinstalling McAfee to fix that issue.
