When I start XP I get an error message that says cannot find file HJMC.exe. I believe it is some sort of virus. I also have a long delay during startup that I didnt have before recieving this warning. Please help! Thanks in advance!

Hi Bill,

I am currently using WinXP Pro and the file is not on my computer.

Could be that there is an entry in the system.ini file or the registry pointing to the file which is no longer there.

I would first suggest you download and try AVG Antivirus or do an online scan at House Call

You could also search the system.ini file and the registry for a reference to the mentioned file.

Another thing you may try is posting in the WinXP forum.
