When I try to use standby, I get a message that a program is running. I've tried taking everything out, one item at a time, but NG.

I tried to use "stand-by" and my computer just froze up. Had to turn it off and reboot. That doesn't seem right.

Denise, it's probable a virus scanner program that tries to scan the sleep function, turn off "On Run" if that's an option in the virus program. Colleen, just because it says it'll work doesn't mean it will, and with computers it usually won't. You both should check the owners manuals on your pc's to find a possible answer, or don't use the sleep or stand by function.
