The Standard PCI Graphics Adapter (VGA) as a yellow exclamation mark, and under Device Status, it says: Your computer's display driver will not work with Multiple Display Support, contact your hardware vendor for assistance in obtaining a display driver that will work with Multiple Display Support. I am awaiting the hardware vendors reply, so in the mean time I thought I would see if any one out there as any idea hoe to resolve this problem. The reason why i identiifed this was, in photo suite 4 when i have scanned i get a message saying: (The graphics returned from your scanner is faulty and cannot be displayed reset your scanner and software and try again) I have tried this but unfortunatly the message is still there. The Standard PCI Graphics Adapter (VGA) is what windows installs when it doesn't know what kind of video card you have. You need to install the specific drivers for your card and then see if the problem goes away.

Do you know the video card model # or manufacturer? If it on-board video the drivers should be on the motherboard manufacturer's site or on the installation disk that came with the motherboard.

Some older PCI video card do not allow multiple display support. The drivers program for the video card you have must be run to give better resolution than standard VGA.Unless you need to run more than one display on this computer you should do fine after installing the drivers.Download Lavalys Everest Home edition to find out details about your hardware name and model.Use these data to find the drivers from driverguide.com
