My Computer started crashing so I reinstalled Win98, It used to have 24 bit true color, now I've only got a choice between 16 and 2 colors.......
Why Ain't the standard pci graphics adapter (vga) display card Biult on the motherboard not work! It's pethetic!

Hi Jesse,

Looks like all you need to do is reinstall the drivers for your graphics card. If it's an onboard card that came with your computer you probably have the drivers on a diskette or CD. Good Luck!

Jason's response is the obvious answer for your problem, but how about this suggestion for anyone in the future.

I always make at least 2 drives(logical). On the C: drive I only put the operating system. On all other drives I put any other info. I always put on a drive other than C:, a copy of all my drivers etc (sound, Vga etc). In this way, if I need to format C;, then I have all the drivers on hand without having to look through floppies and CD's etc. I also find that they usually install better that way as well. Just a tip. You can also put the swapfile in a drive on its own away from all other activity.
