Hello, I have a standard PCI graphic adapter, and I only have 16 colors. Is there a better graphic adapter I could get somewhere? Any suggestions? Anything is welcome~!

You need to find the specific drivers for your video. Windows just loaded that driver because it didn't recognize the video chipset.
If it's onboard video, go to the motherboard manufacturer's site to download the drivers--if you don't have the disk that came with the motherboard.
If it's an add-on card you'll need to open the case and look at the card for manufacturer and model # info or chipset type and then download them from the manufacturer or a place like driverguide.com--if you don't have the disk that came with the card.

A vid card needs to be matched to the cpu that will share its workload. What is your cpu? The radeon pci 7000 for $30 or the mx440 pci for $50 are both good cards but both maybe overkill if your cpu is old.
Maybe your card is capable of more colors but the problem is you don't have the right driver for it.
If you do a detailed visual inspection of the card you will come up with a bunch of letters and numbers and a google search on what you find will likely lead you to the correct name of the card, and you can then download the driver and get more colors.
