Hello,
I am having a heck of a time getting past what seems to me, a rudimentary win98 install on my system. After fdisk, format, then booting with windows 98 cd,( bootcd ),I receive an error message as follows: standard mode: fault in ms-dos extender ec=e428 cd=2053 p=2811 fx=e428 cs=0053 cx=ffff dx=ffff si=0277 di=0186 bp=4275 ds=004b es=0424 ss=0048 sp=426e. These error messages are something I have never dealt with before. Actually, once have I seen this, many moons ago. If there is anyone that can help, I would be very appreciative.
