The only game I could play on my computer which wouldnt stutter was Unreal Tournament. Oneday it began crashing on me. Finally it the game just stopped loading altogether. I scandisked my computer, disk defraged, clean the registry. And removed any excess programs I did not need. Now when I run more than 3 programs, I always get explorer errors. But I get way more STACK OVERFLOW errors than anything else, would could be going on here? I only use my computer for instant messaging, playing unreal, and drawing. I should be able to keep America Online open, while trying to draw in paint without everything crashing. The first time I did scandisk it found errors and fixed them... Ive dont almost everytype of scan and fix you can do several times now, even tried reinstalling unreal. Still it gives me either a script error, or initilaztion failure on some texture or lighting gamma. It cant be my 3d card acting up, as Ive had the latest drivers installed on it for awhile now. 32mb Diamond Viper AGP. Someone help me please! I dont think I have a virus, ive ran 3 anti virus programs and they've found nothing. There was this one really old game I downloaded a long time ago which the programs couldnt scan for some reason. So I deleted that game and all related files.

Hi,
This may be related to your RAM if you're getting stack errors. It may be faulty or a little loose. Take out your RAM sticks and reseat them. Also you mentioned running 3 different antivirus programs. I hope they aren't all 3 installed on your hard disk, as that is a bad idea. They'll fight with each other and ultimately crash your system.
Hope this helps,
~winipcfg

Not sure if this is your answer without word for word error message:
Start/run/type in sysedit/ok/system.ini/[386Enh] if it is not there add it/add MinSPs=4/file/exit/yes/restart. If error continues increase to 8,12 or 16.
Good Luck!

Okay my file says this... I dont quite follow your directions. Can you dummy it up alittle for me? Take a look at this.

Note this is for stack overflow error and I'm not an expert.
In the [386Enh] section
Add MinSPs=12 (you have MinSps=8)
Click on file
Click exit
Click yes (if it asks)
Restart your PCGood luck!
