Who has heard of square CD's? i want to make them myself i have access to a CAD cutting machine and i have a CD writter. Is there any special methods. And how do i tell the cd writter where not to write on the disc, beause that part of the cd isn't a complete track.

I think maybe your refering to minidisks. Although they are in a square casing that you never remove, they are still round disks, similar to a cdrom.

Nope, I don't think he is. There have been some CD singles I've seen released on special shaped CD's. Not too sure on the method of making them, probably best to burn first, then cut on un-used areas.

It could be you are referring to the business card cd-roms that are made by some specialist companies. They replace business cards and can contain multimedia presentations to give to clients or whatever. Can't think of who makes them offhand though sorry. They ain't cheap though.
