Hi All,

I am using windows98se.Whenever I try to install SQL SERVER 2000(PERSONAL EDITION)I am getting the following error.
"A previous program installation created pending file operations on the installation machine. You must restart the computer before running setup."

I did search on google and I found a following solution

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager

Delete any PendingFileRenameOperations values.

My Problem is in my registry(windows98se) I have two session managers and I didn't find any entry as "PendingFileRenameOperations values".

Kindly help me to solve this issue.

Thanks and Regards

Mazlan
