can anyone help me with my internet explorer problem ?
i thought i had spyware and fixed it, running spybot, spyware blaster, adaware etc and all seem to have worked then all of a sudden the problem comes back.
problem being that my home page goes to therealsearch.com and wants me to download a file. this automatically goes as my homepage and when i change my homepage on internet options it is ok for a while then the same problem comes back.
it happens mostly (but not exclusively) when i start up my computer.
when i was in spybot and went to tools then browser pages i can see the pages in their for therealsearch.com and i change them to google but as i said before this only works for a while.
i have re installed my windows and installed internet explorer from nethomehelp.co.uk
can anyone please help ?

You've picked up a "homepage hijacker." I don't know about your specific jacker, but you should be able to find a lot more info about hijackers by searching these forums for previous posts.
I'm suprised the programs you ran didn't solve the problem. You do have a firewall, correct? And you would never, ever open an unexpected e-mail attachment, correct?
Best Wishes and Good Luck,
Bob

Personally, I would research these forums and other forums on the internet for therealsearch.com Maybe even mcafee and nortan on their website to see if they have included anything on that maleware.
Also, If a program like ad-aware or spybot cant get rid of the spyware, then I would attempt to remove it myself by finding any folders associated with the name of the spyware or website it seeks to set as your homepage. This includes program files directory, common files which is inside your program files directory... Search your computer as well and definetly do a complete thorough search through your registry for anything word(s) that include,"therealsearch".
I hope this helps, good luck buddy.
