I get a spurious popop which says 'Hey dude....' It allows me to click only ok and it opens up several internet sessions. It is really annoying considering the content of the pages it opens up. It happens only once every day. Is there a trigger somehwere in the system(have Windows 98).
I have run Spybot and Adaware and have deleted all entries that have been identified.
Just before this popup comes I have seen a tracking cookie atdmt being added.

Hello, Did you try emptying your temp. internet files and cookies? This might do it. Otherwise, are your spyware proggies up-to-date. They are updated frequently, so make sure you have the latest spyware definitions. Good Luck, ~winipcfg
P.S., A virus scan wouldn't hurt either.

Start/Run and type msconfig. Look in the startup tab for anything suspicious.
