Comment:
I just installed an HP Laserjet 4200N on a network server and create a printer share. Whenever I try and install the driver on a Win98 system, I get a Spool32.exe error and the printers disappear. If i install this printer on an NT or W2K system, it works fine.

As a rather unlikely shot in the dark, you haven't replaced either spool32.exe or spoolss.dll with the ME version have you? I know there can be problems if you use ME spool files with W98.
I have a similar problem with spool32.exe. When I start up in Win98 (on a sytem with dual OS (Win98 and 2K) I often (not every time) get a spool32 error message. I have a HP4050TN installed as a local network printer.
When the error has occured I have no choice but to reboot as Explorer else will act in a strange way with a varity of errors.
