I just used Spider on IE6. Running WIN98SE. The scan found hundreds of URL's. Used clean-up. Now in my index.dat, this ' ð­ ð­ 'is showing up. What is this? Also, what is the option for SpiderBite 'Run In Silent Mode'? I also notice that you need to set the options at every scan to remove all temp files, cookies etc. each time(which is much easier than clicking shortcuts to each of these folders) and what is the option to 'Delete all files created by Spider'? I strongly believe in keeping my system clean. I also use Ad-aware, Norton AV 2002 and ZoneAlarm and delete all cookies, temp files etc. on a daily basis. This little program is a wonderful addition. I would just like to understand the functions better.

u know this is a great program but not popular i am glad of this because certain computer companies such as microsoft. if they found out about this program they would immediately track the creator or try to block this program from functioning correctly thats why it has been so secret. but i use this prog too and i guess run in silent mode means to use less system resources or not make a annoying hard drive scratch as it reads data? following me so far. and the delete all files created by spider is just a precautionary measure aimed at keeping itself hidden from The FEDS. it will probably delete the spiderlog and all other files it created in the temp directory. i hope i helped.
