speeding up a 56K modem

Hi:running win 98SE .(custom built system) IE 5.01 sp1 .FIC-Va-503+ Via apollo MVp3. 128 MB sdram pc/100 .168 pin Dimm . K6-2/400MHZ with MMX technologie 8.4gig WD caviar HDD . Diamond 56K modem pci/ V90/.win modem am Having a problems ,especially when am on the net ,some websites it take a while to fully download their sites .. and I was wondering if the problems Rely on the site itself or on my PCs. I do have an utilities from Norton ,also I clean my *.tmp regurally ..and ideas ,thanks for any info.

Well, you are using a 56k, so expect it to be slow...I dont think you can improve performance, but go to toast.net and go to performance test, and it will show you what you are running at.
Summary: How can I speed up a few of the machines that run on a Novell netware network? Would installing extra ram in each machine make any difference? If not, how else would i do it? Many thanks JIM...
