Things to try:
1. Replace motherboard and cpu
2. Put it in a car. (For turbo mode, put in airplane.)

I have no advice on speeding up a compuet, but on a computer it would be by installing a new processor, around 2.6ghz, with faster bus speed, DDR RAM, single OS, with 60gb HD, in a aluminum case with the best power supply I could buy, along with 3-4 fans for cooling, keeping system tray clean, fewer programs loading up on start, history, cookies, and index dat cleaned out, broadband for fastest access to net, and probably a few more things I have forgot.

IMHO, one of the eaisest and cheepest ways to get a boost on performance is to add some more memory, preferably doubling it, if you can. That is, unless you've already maxed out what your MB would support, then upgrading the processor and MB would be my next step.

definatley getting more memory is the easist and fastest way to speed up your computer. it can cut bootime in half on older machines. also, going to msconfig[type that in the run box] and DEselecting programs from the startup. all the ones that you dont need and just waste system resources in the background and make startup slow and tedious.

also buying an already fast and realiable pc from me is a good idea! :)
