Asus Sp97-v, AMD K6-2 450MHz, 256 Ram, Win98se, Bios 109 j.2, ATI 4Mb video card. Works great!
When new 32Mb/nVidia card installed, screen goes black after boot up. Have tried all versions of the drivers. The card works ok in my Asus P5A. I checked Cmos etc, jumpers are where the manual describes for expansion card use. Thanks in advance for your help and consideration. Vince

I suspect that you have missed something. You probably have an on-board video adapter. If so you will either have to disable it or specify the PCI(?) card as the display device in the Bios.

Since your mobo is quite old have you checked what the voltage requirements are for the new card vs. the old card?

Have you disabled the AGP-BUS TURBO in the bios? NVIDIA has a compatibilty issue and this feature must be disabled.
