hi my soundMAX integrated digital audio is installied and it ask for this file smx.cat i know what it is,i just need it because i don't have cd anyware i can download it? or help with soundMAX integrated digital audio,it says your sound may not funcotion properly please reset you configuration... i downloaded the file soundMAX integrated digital audio (AOpenMX3WPro-W98SEAudioDriver-wdm00099) and it says i need the smx.cat file? please help cheers!

I've had more than one sound card installation lose the .cat file. The sound card seems to work OK without it, but if you do a search of the installation disk it's usually there somewhere.

i did skip file and it says the driver will work but not as good.run setup again and conginfuiger.. this is when it wants the disk u see i don't have the disk smx.cat is a microsoft creficifiaction of quailty work... the problem is i need smx.cat!!! can sum 1 e-mail it or help :\
