Hi, If I play sounds or mp3's on a program, such Winamp or Windows Media Player, and then I attempt to use sound in another program I will get a message that my sound card in use. Yet in my task manager I don't see a program that uses sound. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Do you mean that you use Winamp to play a sound. Close Winamp, and then start another program that attempts to output sound, it fails?

Do you have that 'Duh' feeling right about now? Winamp and WMP will be using your soundcard at that time.

Even after the program is closed, I still get the same message. I make sure the program is closed in the task manager, but no difference.
