sound problem

CPU/Ram: pentium 2, intel MMX, 32

when ever i play a music file weather its in windows media or in winamp, the music doesnt play in normal speed, only in fast. how can i sort this out?

Are you saying that the song plays faster than it is supposed to? Such as a 4 minute song only takes 2 minutes to play it?
