Umm I'm running VMWARE workstation 4. I've installed win98 SE and win95C with it. I tried to run the drivers for sound card that I downloaded from teh creative website, but they do absolutly no good. So I got some other drivers from another website (it's made by creative though).
In win98, the sound is "slow". I dont know how to explain it exactly but every sound is heard slowly. And in win95 it either doesnt work, or when it works it plays the sound too fast. This is kinda weird. I've spent a lot of time trying to fix it, trying different drivers and I'm stuck right now.
Anyone has been able to get teh sound working in win98 at least?
Any advice on what I should do?Thanks in advance

I am also running windows 98se, sans the VMWARE workstation. I have wrestled with slow sound delivery since I purchased PC used. With everything from radio, CDs, even animations, the sound is so slow the words are barely discernable, but I notice in animations the movement on the screen is also in slo-mo. Have tried the same fixes as MR. Polite, updated codecs, media player, CD drivers, sound card drivers, to no avail. Have looked through troubleshooting pages for a year, never see anything about slo-mo sound. I'm tired of the struckin'fuggle. Any ideas would be joyously recieved. Thanks.
