sound driver

I downloaded a driver for a sound card and when i go to install it and select the location where it is at it starts to install it and then stops asking for win 98 disk and then it keeps saying can find it . any one know what to do card is a hercules MUSE LT 4.0 thanks

It wants the generic files contained in the Win98 cabs files.
They are usually located in a folder called c:\windows\options\cabs.
While installing the drivers and it asks for those 98 files, point it to the cabs files (use the browse button to get there)and you should be good to go.

Sometimes the installation process gets confused and asks for the 98 cd when the file it needs is actually on the driver installation disk or in the folder containing the downloaded drivers.
Try putting the driver disk in instead of the 98 cd. Or with a downloaded file browse to it's folder. Then browse through the various folders in it until you find the file.
