sound, cdrom and headphones?

i was curious if there is anyway(a program or certain setup)that i would be able to listen to mp3's and other sounds from my computer via the headphone jack on the cdrom drive? thank you

Your computer will only play sounds through that jack if the sounds are coming from a cd. You can burn the sounds to a cd (if you have a burner) and listen to it that way but otherwise, you are pretty much outta luck (there is always a sound card)

I have a headphone deal called (Andrea)It has a small box that you plug your mic and speakers into and you can listen through the headphones with a flip of a switch to anything you want to listen to and it's real good for chatting also.
