Comment: I have (another) sound card problem. My computer seems to forget that the sound card drivers are installed every time I reboot it. The card is Crystal SoundFusion(tm) CS4281 WDM Audio. It's getting frustrating having to reinstall the drivers every time the computer reboots. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Ryan

Reply: (edit)Does your motherboard have on board sound and is it disabled and the drivers uninstalled for it, if it does? Have you made sure that all the drivers have been removed from your system. Make sure that Windows does not have a driver for the card that it tries to install automatically. From your post it sounds like you are have been having sporadic and continuous problems for sometime now. If it was my computer, I would go to NEWEGG.COM and get a new one($13.50-$30).

Reply: (edit)Maybe you just need to try another driver...some download driver files dont work too great. http://drivers.soft32.com/driver/download-CIRRUS_LOGIC_Sound_Card_CS4281-24663.html Try that driver if you havnt already! And even try re-seating your sound card! Before you do this AND AFTER!! you do this...Click SATRT>SETTINGS>CONTROL PANEL>SYSTEM>DEVICE MANAGER> Click the + sign and right click on your sound card name....go to propeties...and click on driver....click update driver...and it will ask you for the destination where the new/old driver is stored and continue from there. Try a new download first...if not...reseat the hard ware...and try a new instalation. youll get it....Let me know!
